COVID-19 Precautions

We are doing our best to make sure your training at Equip is safe and productive.

Masks and social distancing will NOT be required for fully vaccinated people moving forward.

If at all possible, please get the Covid vaccine before you come. 

We will operate per the recent changes in CDC guidelines and North Carolina Executive Order 215 for fully vaccinated people (listed below). 

• Visit with other fully vaccinated people indoors without wearing masks or staying 6 feet apart.

• Visit with unvaccinated people from one other household indoors without wearing masks or staying 6 feet apart if everyone in the other household is at low risk for severe disease.

• Refrain from quarantine and testing if they do not have symptoms of COVID-19 after contact with someone who has COVID-19.

In an effort to maximize your safety and learning environment we will continue the following practices:

• Increase air movement in classroom with air purifiers

• Enhanced cleaning of surfaces and dorm rooms

• If you have underlying conditions, please consider rescheduling

If you have not received the vaccine, please note: Symptoms appear 2-14 days after exposure.  If you are unvaccinated, we ask you to restrict your activities for 15 days before you come.   Keep exposure to a minimum.  Wear masks when you go out and go out only for essential reasons.

If you show symptoms while you are here, we would ask that you be willing to quarantine yourself off site.
