Wes and Libby Wilson

Wes earned a B.S. in Plant Pathology from Ohio State University, and has taken graduate level courses in the pursuit of a M.S.. He and his family served in Bolivia in the late 1990’s as an Agriculture missionary with Food For The Hungry. In addition to that Wes had a 35+ year career as a Scientist, working in the environmental field and as a Lipid Scientist with Abbott Nutrition. In 2013 Wes and his wife Libby moved from Ohio to Marion NC to teach Agriculture at Equip’s campus. Wes also manages two community gardens in Marion, where the produce is given to local food pantries and to needy individuals. He is also the founder of the GIFT program – Gardening Initiative For Teens, where teens are educated in gardening, Scripture memorization, discipleship and Christian living. Libby serves as the Dining Room Coordinator on the Equip campus in Marion.  Wes and Libby have four grown daughters and five grandchildren.
