Training & Education Associate
Josh is a lifelong educator who loves to teach people about God and how He has ordained His world to function. He has a B.S. and M.S. in environmental science, and uses his experience to teach agriculture and MMI, as well as assist with water technologies. He is also an ordained minister and teaches for many of Equip's morning chapel services, in addition to teaching at Blue Ridge Church near downtown Marion.
Josh's love of education has led him to teach groups from elementary age to adults in a variety of settings: zoos, grade schools, colleges and universities, and others. He is the author of several books and is a well-known herpetologist (one who studies reptiles and amphibians), having appeared on the History, Weather and Discovery Channels. He and his wife, Rebekah, along with their kids, Chava and Josephine, live in Marion and run a small farm based on sustainable farming and permaculture principles.
